The Go GIrl Africa Team was humbled to take part in the firast Girls coffe talk organised by our partners Smart Girls Uganda we shared experiences in regards to self discovery and building self esteem.

Go Girl Africa Team was honoured to have taken part in this exciting event. The main purpose of the father daughter dance is ti bond the relation ship between father and their daughters and share worthwhile experiences.

Shubey Nantege Team Leader Go Girl Africa,was humbled to have taken part in the USIP -Youth Leaders exchange Programme with His Holiness of The Dalai Lama,The U.S. Institute of Peace and His Holiness the Dalai Lama joined to strengthen the abilities of youth leaders working to build peace in the world’s most violent regions. USIP and the Dalai Lama hosted a dialogue in May 2016 in Dharamsala with 28 such peace builders drawn from networks of the Institute and its partners in 13 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. These leaders are among their countries’ most effective peace builders. The dialogue with the Dalai Lama helped us to build practical skills and personal resilience we need to work against the tensions or violence in our homelands. . .

We shared experiences and ideas on improving our communities’ abilities to manage conflict nonviolently, notably by drawing on human values of compassion and our communities’ own resources. We held dialogues with the Dalai Lama on ways to build inner strength for our work. We also conducted exchanges with local youth and discussions on the roles of spiritual values in peace building, of prejudice and extremism in conflict, and of effective interfaith engagement.

USIP's middle East and Africa's Generation change programme is dedicated to empowering and building the capacity of civically engaged use as they emerge as leaders in their communities. By providing specialised leadership and conflict Resolution Training,Generation change aims to provide youth leaders with the skills needed to increase community trust,promote construct conversations and offer alternatives to resolving conflicts with out violence.
