Go Girl Africa Founder
She is a dynamic social entrepreneur who is passionate about the welfare of girls and women. She is the founder and executive director of Go Girl Africa, a national not for profit organization that empowers girls and young women to create and become change agents in society. Inspired by a series of events and real life tales of her cousin who joined prostitution as a way to survive and earn a living, Shubey has been out to impact society by helping girls and women through Go Girl Africa. The organization has a unique approach to tackle these challenges through offering entrepreneurship skills, sexual reproductive and health information and advocacy for peace and conflict resolution among communities. Her works have been recognized by United States Institute of Peace (USIP) and UNESCO Youth. Go Girl Africa was one of the main highlights of the International Youth Day, 2016. The impact it is creating has been the subject of publications from both organizations. Over the past 5 years, Shubey has been a beacon of hope in the communities her organization has reached out to. Her work with Go Girl Africa earned her a Fellowship with United Stares lnstiture of Peace‘s Generation change program, which equips young civic leaders around the world with leadership skills and develops their networks with global change makers. Shubey also serves as a board member of the Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET) and Rotary Vijana Poa (RVP) programme an initiative for Rotary District 9211. Her personal mission and belief is to give girls and young women the tools needed to make a positive change within their communities. She believes youth have a unique combination of energy, creativity, and idealism that allows them find solutions to problems in new and innovative ways. “Girls and young women can be inspired to challenge the status quo and be the best they can be”


Masaba Mas Yunus

Go Girl Africa Co-Founder
A serial entrepreneur and investor who owns multiple businesses, Mas is the founder and proprietor of a growing African business conglomerate Mas Group of Companies with interests in Transport & Logistics, information technology, Business consultancy, Security, Technology and Sports. He is also the president of Uganda Youth Entrepreneurs League (UYEL), as well as co-founder Go Girl Africa. Named Young Employer of the Year by the Federation of Uganda Employers in 2014. In 2015, he spear headed his business conglomerate (Mas Group of Companies) as it emerged Gold Winner for the SME Company of the year by Federation of Uganda Employers. He is passionate about entrepreneurship as a key driver to the growth of African economies and key to unlocking Africa’s potential through youth and women.
